Don’t Stop Doing Good

Galatians 6:9-10

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.“

There is nothing wrong with doing good. Although we all know this is a true statement, at times we tend to fall out if the custom of intentionally doing good. I come to you this evening to encourage you look for opportunities to do good on purpose, but most importantly make sure that your motive isn’t to receive glory from man but only from God. I have asked God to grace us all with the opportunity to good for someone, because in doing so we are sharing hope, love, peace, and joy with others. Hebrews 13:16 (ESV)

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

The action that we take in this time must be actions of a servants heart. As always I encourage you to take all precaution, but don’t let that stop you from doing dood.

Continue to speak Psalms 91 in your life and while doing so remember to be wise in your thinking, with your words, and your deeds/actions. Be careful that whatever you do it is not contrary to God’s word. Isaiah 26:3

“You will keep in perfect peace

those whose minds are steadfast,

because they trust in you.“
