Get Rid of It

What is the one thing in life that has held you back from the promises that God has in-store for you? There may be more than one particular thing or maybe someone that has caused you to miss out on the peace, joy, happiness, and love that you've been searching for. In Jeremiah 29:11, The Lord declares "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (NIV)

God has an abundance of greatness waiting for you, but you have to come into the reality of living in this world and knowing that it's not your home; however, you should live life to the fullest while focusing on God's kingdom agenda. In order to focus on the kingdom agenda of God, Peter said that we must GET RID OF Malice (intentions to do evil), Guile (cunning intelligence), Hypocrisy (actor of the faith/pretender), Envy (discontent by what others have) and Evil Speaking. (1 Pet. 2:1)

The 5 characteristics that Peter has suggested to get rid of, are not just characteristics, but they are BLOCKERS.

They block your promises, plans of well-being, protection, positive future, hope, and growth in your Salvation (a free gift for all mankind.) My recommendation to you is "GET RID OF IT, and Let IT Go."
